Lost a Friend. Found a Tribe.

A community born after October 7th โ€” for everyone who lost a friendship, lost their footing, or lost the version of the world they thought they lived in.

Lost a Friend & Found a Tribe is a community rooted in remembrance of our Why โ€” and in finding our How together.

In the aftermath of October 7th, as Jews and our precious allies โ€” especially across the diaspora โ€” we have faced profound losses, rising hatred, increased danger of violence, and deep rupture in our sense of safety and belonging. We are grieving. We are shaken. We are scared.

Yet here we are still standing. Guided by the resilience of those who came before us, we hold faith that we will not only endure โ€” but rise, rebuild, and continue to bring light into the world.

Our Story

How this Tribe began.

After October 7th, so many of us felt alone.

Not just grieving — abandoned.

Friends went silent.
Communities looked away.
Institutions offered “context” instead of care.

And people felt alone.

That is why Lost a Friend, Found a Tribe exists.

Because you are not alone.

This Tribe is saving lives by reminding people that there is still love, support, and truth. The tribe is full of people who will show up and say:

I see you. I believe you. I’m walking with you.

What started in pain has become something full of light.

Friendships.
Support.
Hope.
Strength.

You may have lost people you thought would stand beside you.

But you found a Tribe that will.

Love, Abby
