Build

We took the pain and turned it into action.

The Tribe is more than a place to grieve — it is a place to rebuild stronger and better. Together we create resources, projects and events to fight the hate we see in the world.

Every one of us arrived here the same way: something broke. A friendship of thirty years. A community we trusted. The feeling of being safe in our own story.

For a while, the Tribe was where we put the grief down. That mattered — it still does. But something happens when people who have lost the same thing sit together long enough. The grief starts asking a question:

What do we do with this now?

BUILD is our answer. Any member can bring a project — an idea born from what they lived through — and the whole Tribe helps make it real: brainstorming it bigger, stress-testing it honestly, and signing up to do the work. We don’t heal by waiting. We heal through doing.

How it works

Every month we meet to discuss a new project.

What we’re building now.

Two projects are live today. Each one started as a single member’s idea at a BUILD meeting — and each one has room for you.

THE FACTS ARE ON OUR SIDE

Most of us learned the hard way that grief isn’t the only thing we were unprepared for — we were unprepared for the arguments. The Facts Are On Our Side arms Tribe members with clear, sourced, shareable facts, so that the next time the libels show up in a group chat, a comment section, or across a dinner table, you don’t have to argue from pain. You can argue from truth.

A year from now

Every Tribe member has a toolkit they trust — and no one walks into that conversation unarmed again.

TRIBE ANTHOLOGY

Our stories are the record. The Tribe Anthology is collecting them — the friendships lost, the moments everything changed, the way we found each other — into a book that documents this moment in Jewish life, told by the people who lived it. Not so the world can pity us. So the world cannot say it didn’t know.

A year from now

A published anthology of Tribe voices exists in the world — a permanent record our children can hold in their hands.
